In my opinion difference between 17'' and 18'' rims isn't that big and it isn't worth spending a lot of money for new 18 inch tyres. I decided to stay with 17'' for next year or longer and that's my final decision.
-
Yeah, 18'' or 19'' rims would be great, but... previous owner 3 months ago bought new Pirelli P7 Cinqurato RunFlat 225/50R17. He spent a lot of money and I decided to stay with these tyres for 2 or 3 years. It would be waste of money to buy new tyres IMO...

Thanks guys. :))
I find it a bit sad, you've sold your Galant.
But even if I find that the more beautiful car is the Galant,
the GTO is already a great car.
Have you already planned changes?Oh, yeah Galant is beautiful. I love it.
But... i had to change the car. I need 4wd, rust-resistant car with over 200bhp.
I was thinking of Audi S4 or S6 but then I found the GTO (originally RHD, with 4wd and 4ws) and my heart told me - take another (fourth actually) Mitsubishi, not the Audi.
I've always dreamed of GTO/3000GT so the decision was quite easy.Plans?
Not much actually - just things which you need to do after buying a car. ;-)))
Oh, right - one thing I need to do - to buy new 17'' rims and winter tyres. :))) -
GTO
6g72 DOHC
4WD, 4WS
rear wing from GTO mk3 ("rainbow") -
Galant is sold.
Now i have GTO. -
yes, you´re right. I have the 17". with 17x7,ET38 and running on Hankook Evos 215/45ZR17... it´s a little more comfy and i like a smooth ride
I wish i could go with 18" and a 45 cross-section, so i could fill my fenders a little more, but wouldn´t get to close to the street. I need the distance to the ground cause of my parking slot. But that simply does not work, so i´ll stick to the 17" for now. Maybe when i move and get a new garage, i can lower it and go for a 35 cross section.
Oh... I think I'm in worse situation. Have you ever been in Poland? Geez... Polish roads are terrible. Using 17'' rims here is mad, but 18'' with "35" height is like a suicide. Sometimes I'm tired of driving 30km/h in city (avoiding path holes) but I just love the way how Galant looks on those rims.Newest pic:

Hehehe, thanks. You've got also great rims.
But I think I've got a bit larger, haven't I?
I've got 18''x7'' ET40 with 215/35ZR18 Falken tires. What about you? -

Zitat
Good choice of Wheels, look good.
Thank you.ZitatCan you show a Picture from the built in Ralliart-Gear Knob?
Sure. As you can see the gear gaitor is low. I could put it higher, but I didn't care and left it like that.ZitatWhere did you buy these strutbar?
In Poland there is a company called "Staffa".
They make very good quality steel strutbars. They may not look great, but they do their job!
The strutbar costs 180PLN (about 43€), but you have to paint it yourself. As you see I chose fluorescencent pink. If you'll pay 5€ more they'll send you painted in one of standard colours (white, black, blue, etc.). -
In March I changed wheels...
rims: ATS DTM Competition 18x7" ET40
tyres: Falken FK-452 215/35ZR18I'll take better photos next week. :))

Tschippi, formal names of them are (as you said) turn signals, directional indicators or directional signals, but you can also use: blinkers, directionals, flashers or indicators - those are informal names.
