Neuer Lancer - Butterbrot Auto für Hausfrauen & Rentner?

Mir wurde ein neuer Entwurf einer Mittelklasse-Limiusine zugespielt, die einen möglichen neuen Lancer darstellt.
Während die Studien und Entwürfe heute auch immer schnittiger und aufregender werden, überrascht dieses Rendering mit einer großen Nüchternheit, wirkt fast langweilig.

Wie denkt ihr darüber?

Ich bin ein großer Freund solcher Brot und Butter Autos.
In der heutigen, designtechnisch komplett verspielten Zeit wirkt ein solch geradliniger Wagen
geradezu wie Balsam für die Sehnerven.

Und als Evo Basis könnte ich mir denn auch gut vorstellen.

Sieht für mich ein bisschen so aus, als wolle man designtechnisch eine Verbindung zum Lancer A174 herstellen.
